I’m a little bit of an obsessive when it comes to grammar and it bugs me when people get it wrong. Pointing out mistakes doesn’t win you many friends though, so I try not to preach – I just silently judge!

I was just looking up new words in a dictionary the other day, and it got me thinking:

Which came first? The dictionary, or the word “Dictionary”?

I have days when I think how ridiculously complicated the English Language is, and I feel sorry for people learning it as a second language!
