I LOVE The Blind Assassin and quite enjoyed The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time, although I thought Spot of Bother was a bit quirkier.
I sort of stopped reading The Blind Assassin because i was getting a bit bored of it, and passed it on to my mother! I’m not really into The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time though, it’s bugging me a little bit, but i will persevere!
I HATED The Blind Assassin.
I didn’t get very far before i got fed up with it! Passed to my mother who told me she gave up and started reading something else! Maybe it’s an acquired taste?!
If you like Scandinavian lit, you should try Yrsa Sigurdadottir.
I think my parents have some books by Sigurdadottir, i may have read one already, i shall look into it!
